About the book

<Class Management for Upper Grades> is a practical educational guide for teachers who teach elementary students in the upper grades. The authors are Teacher Nam Jeong-seok, Teacher So Jin-hee, Teacher Jeon Jin-young, Teacher Yeon Jeong-eun and Teacher Lee Hyerin, who have all courageously and voluntarily taken charge of grade 6 classes over many years while others claim difficulties in guiding students in upper grades. The five teachers work at elementary schools in Seoul now and serve as instructors in 'Class Management for the Upper Grades' at the i-Scream Institute. The research team was selected as the best research team of 2011 in terms of the Innovation of Teaching Methods in 'Curriculum Planning and Execution for the Wholistic Education of Grade 6'. (Education and Information Institute of Seoul). Teacher Nam Jeong-seok won the Presidential Award at the 1st Education and Informatization Research Contest in 2007, and is the incumbent Chairman of the Elementary School Division at the 2012 National Cyber Learning Research Association.

About the Author

i-Scream Institute Research Team
The research team consists of current elementary school teachers from Seoul who have published a book with their know-how of upper grade class management in an era where bullying, school violence and the undermining of the teacher’s authority are rampant. The research team was selected as the best research team of 2011 in terms of the Innovation of Teaching Methods in 'Curriculum Planning and Execution for the Wholistic Education of
